Hey I need help, on codwaw the past couple of days ago this started, I had issues loading certain maps,had roll back of rank,wouldnt load maps from one to the other. I have  unistalled vid drivers and updated, I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled. but I am still getting issues and artifacts in game, crash's and a blue screen. This is only happeing  with cod and not any other game that uses more graphics I have nivda 8500 gt card and 4 gigs of ram. Why is this happening and what  can I do about this?

I would suggest testing with another card if possible.  See how that works.

I would ask take a look at your firewall.  This may cause a sync issue.  The best way to check that is to see if you can play the campaign mode.  If you dont have any issues there then something is stopping the maps from syncing up.

Check your vid card temp as well. You could be overheating. Use something like CPUID HWMonitor or Speedfan to record temps while you play. As long as you don't crash, you can end the game, then look at the log or graph to see how hot you're running.

I tryed the solo campaign and got as far as hard landing when it went south, my vid card temp was 70 deg celsius. So I gather it must mean my card eh? Which again doesnt make sense seeing I can play the other game that  takes more graphics but if it made sense I wouldnt be here asking you all.

Have you cleaned your pc lately?

70 deg C isn't too bad for an 8600. What other games are you playing that you're not having trouble with?

I play runes of magjic  Battle field 2 ,bf bad company. I have cleaned it throughly and I played single for a bit and then it crashed again and here is what I could copy for the errors (ps the temp was 66 deg at the time)

update directx and video card drivers; also reinstall the game to rule out these problem.

Ok, this sounds weird, but I had a similar problem a month ago.....my fix, believe it or not, was, I reverted my Nic Card Drivers back to a previous version and it never happened again..

I might have done that already I will have to check with my buddy who has been helping me

That is the problem....the buddy system is only for scuba diving!

I suggest borrowing your buddies display adapter and see if the problem goes away - that is the quickest method of isolating the problem.
