Video game allows Taliban role play

A video game that allows players to adopt the role of the Taliban is a "tasteless product," Britain's defense secretary said Sunday, calling on retailers to refuse to sell it. Liam Fox said he was "disgusted and angry" by "Medal of Honor," produced by Electronic Arts Inc., of California. Company spokeswoman Amanda Taggart was quoted by the Sunday Times of London as saying the game's format "merely reflects the fact that every conflict has two sides." The new version of "Medal of Honor" is due out in October.

You know that EA is celebrating behind closed doors.  Is bet anything that they'be been hoping and praying for media attention like this.

It's basically the same thing as all the hype and debate about the "no russian" mission in MW2.  All it did was give the game free advertising airtime.

It's a game! they are trying to make political points with it. They use the men/women in battle the same way. Most of them could care less about the men/women in harm's way.

DID YOU KNOW IT TOOK MONTHS FOR NORTH VIET NAM AND THE UNITED STATES TO DECIDE ON THE SHAPE OF THE PEACE TABLE? DURING THIS TIME MORE MEN DIED, RECKON HOW LONG IT WOULD OF TAKEN IF THEY HAD OF BEEN IN A RICE PATTY?
