You guys have gotta check this out!  A set of wearable subwoofers that deliver directional bass.  supposedly they greatly enhance your overall situational awareness in games.  Very much want.

Well I have a 7.1 surround sound and my fiancée hates it when I leave my door open.  I put a few bucks in to my office to reduce the sound from leaving my office when the door is closed she doesn't have to listen to you guys killing me.  For now I think I'll stick with the 7.1 surround system.

I'm a 5.1 speaker guy, so I don't need these, but I'm sure my wife would love it if I got a set. "Could you turn the bass down?!?" is a very common phrase coming out of her mouth around here.

I can see that Mr. Afshar spent ALL of the last 5 years working on this invention otherwise he would have taken a break to wax or shave a path through that hedge to the top of his nose!
