I will attempt to post our recent purchase of a house in the Phoenix area. House listed for $60k and we got it for $65K. House appraised for $237K two yrs ago. We think we got one heck of a deal. It has 1800 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms, 2 bath with a nice pool. The Phoenix area has hundreds of homes like this for sale. If anyone is interested in researching this, I had a very good agent that was so much help. I can forward his contact information. [url=

There is gang problems with any and all big cities and Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the country. The Gang problems are about 15 to 20 miles away from my house. The house is in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix, south west.

Great Stevvy, not downing the place at all. You and the wife (your married right?) got a SUPER DEAL.....was that a Wal-Mart blue light special?
When my sister-in-law comes over I'll show it to her. She is a realestate Broker has her own realestate business. Again, GRADS to YOU and YOURS!

OK Nam, no offense taken but that was K-Mart with the "Blue Light Special". I would be interested what your sister-in-law has to say about it. Cost of living is much lower there than where I am living now. Got to think of retirement ya know. We will be renting the house for about 2 yrs. Turned it over to a property management company. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Only 60k? Yowzah. A house like that would be at least 800k up here... Is that tile, or that neato tile-looking laminate?
If anyone wants to buy me one, I wouldn't mind.
