well I went to a store and bought a new netbook since the other one I had  fell off the desk.  Here it is.  Now I can admin when I am playing now.   http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Eee+PC+Netbook+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Atom%26%23153%3B+Processor+-+Deep+Red/9705442.p?id=1218154377383&skuId=9705442 I have virus and spyware.  Right now it micortrend till I cancel or decide to switch.  I tried to put windows live one care on it but it not compatible with windows 7.  That could explain why I have received a email saying they are dicontinuing the product. updated link should work

the funny thing is I tried to look up the model on asus website and can't find a thing.  It can have up to 11 hours of battery time

ASUS uses something called  a hybrid engine to achive the  long battery life. It is a combination of power saving on the netbook and undecllocking th CPU. You can also overclock the CPU by chosing "super performance"


The first thing I would do if I were you is upgrade to 2 gig of memory. Win 7 and the eepc uses about 500mb of memory when running.

Let me know how you like it. I have to 1005HA version.
