No system disc error

I get this error when I try to boot. I have to hit f8 during start up, it will come up with a boot menu, I select the drive and it boots up winXP just fine.
I dont have a floppy drive/or disc in it for that matter.
I think it's to do with the MBR but I forgot how to fix that. I remember vaguely fixing it via device manager or something ...any1 have a clue?

Boot from the windows XP CD, press the "R" key in the setup in order to start the restoration console. Select your windows XP installation from the list, and enter the administrator password. if needed then
Enter the command: "FIXMBR" (without the quotes) at the input prompt and confirm the next question with a "Y" (without the quotes). Use exit to restore the computer.
