Seems I haven't been able to connect to a game for a few days now. Even joining a group causes them to not be able to get into a game. So I guess I'll be out for a while. The "patch" did nothing for the issue today.

Ok, i don't know how to help you other than suggest you flag a ticket in the BattleNet app. Hit the 3 dots next to the shop then goto Support and follow the steps. Blizz is usually pretty good with there support, but if you don't have any luck goto Activision Support on Facebook or their website ok.
