Which video card do you have? I have a i7 950 and run the game just fine. You're i3 is better than my i7 950 minus 2 cores.

I have a gtx 650 upgrading to a gtx 960 but the 650 did work however it did have issues.

I have an I3-2100 which is older than yours I believe and it runs about 50% to 60%
I'm running at the lowest settings however.

My issues is it uses up so much ram I also have 8 gb of ram and it maxes right out in game.

I mean its not the best in the world but it does work.  From the looks of it your gpu should be able to handle it as my 650 has 1 gb and my 960 has 2gb.

That's a labtop. To upgrade a vid card on them is not to cost effective. But it doesn't hurt to look at eBay for a used one, you may get lucky.

Actually its a Alienware Alpha. Nice real machine but no real upgrade options. Only paid $350 for it.

I found a video of someone playing BF1 with an Alienware Alpha with the same specs as you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoGJxe5wUYQ He gets about 40FPS on medium which isn't that bad but you'd be able to run it.
