EA Halts DICE's Future Projects Pending Battlefield 4 Repair

LukeThu Dec 05, 2013 2:42 am

We've been covering the ongoing troubles plaguing marquee Frostbite 3 title Battlefield 4. EA and DICE have encountered issues with stability across platforms, with even more emerging following yesterday's release of the China Rising map pack.

Speaing with IGN, EA says that DICE is focused on Battlefield 4 right now. "We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority," a representative told the outlet. "The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game." This means that future DLC and the development of Star Wars Battlefront 3 are on hold.

This has been going on for years. They sell you the game then turn there back on the game and people who bought it. It's all about money not the love off the game.

From the looks of this post they are working hard on it. They already posted 13 server patches on the last month and a half.

I understand that Luke but BF2  was huge game and huge following. They turned their backs on the community and  started to push 2142. Both games died. I also believe what kills these games is every game the release  you need to upgrade your system. Hopefully they do the right thing and stay focus on  BF4.
P.S. i have heard this type of thing from EA before.
