DICE has released server update R4 that is currently going out to all the servers automatically. The version update will force a server restart.

The build includes a number of various crash fixes including the fairfight rcon command crashes and other smaller fixes.

Attention all BF4 Server Owners:

DICE has released a server update that is currently going out to all the servers automatically. The version update will force a server restart.

The build includes number of Blaze fixes, Tablet Commander fixes and vars.preset RCON command which can be used to set preset to Normal, Hardcore or Custom.

Please note: This patch does not yet address some of the crashing issues servers have experienced and these will be solved in a future patch.

The launch of Battlefield 4 is in full swing and the majority of our fans are having a good time. We’ve noticed that some players on PC are experiencing crashes, something that we understand can be frustrating. Rest assured that we are working to address these issues.

If you’re having problems, please make sure to follow these steps:
-Make a clean install of PunkBuster by removing your original install and re-download the client.
-Repair the Battlefield 4 installation by right-clicking on your game inside of the Origin client.
-Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Note that the recent issue where players that were using AMD cards on Windows 8 would get a red screen has been fixed with the recent AMD graphics cards driver update.

Also note that we are aware of the issue of players not being able to join a queue for game servers. We hope to resolve this issue resolved.
