Admitting the level my geekdom

WatjalukinatWed May 08, 2013 9:28 pm

So, while I hate to admit it, I realize i'm a complete nerd. Besides the online gaming, I also play D&D with my family and family friends. So, anyone else play? If so, what setting, what edition, what class/race??

I am currently involved with 3 games.
A dwarf campaign in 2nd edition - Forgotten Realms - I'm a battlerager.

I run a 3.5e forgotten realms campaign, where my players are lvl 15ish and soon to fight a big boss where I want to kill them all and drink their tears lol.

I am also about to start playing in my cousin's 2nd edition Birthright campaign, i'll be a Vos Wizard.

So.. Mock me if you will, but we're all nerds. lol.

I'm still a 6'3" 250lb veteran who plays basketball, softball, and kayaks. So i'm not full nerd.

Wanna bet ?  LOL

Of course if you're the nerd I have to be the "hoarding" geek - computer parts laying around on my desk and none of the parts even will work in  a PC capable of running any of our games.  heck the RAM doesn't even work in a old HP Laserjet printer ...  Anyone need a Token Ring Card?

I think per the below diagram, you have failed at being a nerd or a geek.

hmm, im a fan of gadgets, gaming, film, coding, computing, living encyclopedia status, early adopter
and
diverse sometimes impractical skills, a PC, and into fantasy/sci-fi, computer programming. Not as boring as a nerd, or as hipster as a "geek"
