Been messing around lately on my other computer.  Here's a screenshot to see the results.

This would be Mint 12(linux) running inside Windows 7 on the left.  The right is on the same computer, different monitor.  That is OSX Snow Leopard.  Everything working properly on all operating systems.

Are you running VMWare, Virtual PC or something else?
I found a couple of years ago that OSX ran poorly under XP/VMWare.

Virtualbox from Oracle.  I don't have any issues other than the fact I can't run OSX in seamless mode with Windows like I can a Linux distro.  I also had to tweak a couple things to get audio working but other than that everything with OSX ran just fine right after the install.

Thanks - now to find my OSX disk ... where did I hide it?
