angry bird is a rip off of a game from the 80's
i played a game on a tandy 8088 it was monkeys throwing bananas at the other player
you could adjust the gravity, and the strenght of the throw,
there were things to shoot over and everything.

as for the price of games. i think crowd sourcing is the real future and they will raise the money before the game is made.
