Graphics Cards Review
Gizmodo has a pretty good review page on current video cards if you're thinking about upgrading this season.

Have'nt really looked around...
but if anyone has a hunch as to where there might
be a used or preferably new Nvida EVGA 9800 GX2
for sale that would be splendid.
I thought about going with ATi but decided to stick with
Nvidia and SLI my current set up.

hey static what cpu do you have? If your going to sli your going to need a good enough CPU so you dont bottleneck your graphics card.
This not only goes for SLI. Dont waste your money on a $300+ card and be running a slow dual core.

Im using an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz -> 2.98GHz
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate
System is SLI ready just looking for another 9800GX2
or possibly going to a single nvidia GTX 470.
Would love to get my hands on a 9800GX2 though.

if you do find one; its going to be outrageously priced. Its getting to be a "classic" in the graphics cards world lol
Id just go with the 470;
less heat, less voltage use, more performance, directx11 what more do you need? lol
Keeping in mind that CODBO only uses directx9 so if thats your main game you play, directx11 is useless to you.
I had my 285's up for sale a while back ( i think warwa is looking at buying them though? ill have to PM him and ask him) for $300 for both of them.

hmm yeah.
Thanks anyways.. would have been nice to see the sli...
probably a better bet to go with the new card.
Then SLI it down the road.

Depending on your power supply you might have to get a bigger one with the newer cards pushing at much wattage as they are.
The 285's are still a work horse though! So don't write them off as an old card yet
The are on par with a 480 but use less energy lol just they lack directx11

Well, I was going to mention Tom's Hardware, but it looks like Gizomodo's article is jut based off Tom's Hardware anyway.

I love my 9800 GTX+ It's made by XFX. I only have one and it performs stable always. No complaints for the two hundred I kicked out for it over a year and a half ago.
Of course though a guy always would like to upgrade to a newer card because they always get stronger and better as the technology gets better and more advanced. For example smaller nanometer size for integrated circuits and multiple on die processors.
