Immo is an amazing graphics artist. I hope to be half as good as he is.
As for the program, I feel GIMP is better for doing graphics rendering like sigs the Photoshop. Photoshop works out very well but its geared more for photos.
Thats just me.
If you ever need help, dont hesitate to ask me questions and remember Youtbe is a great resource for learning.

Thats a pretty good start Karma. You have a good start for focus. Next step would be to work on shading. To help give if some direction, start with that and that will get you going.

The more I play around the more ideas I have - This is addictive.
So far I have rendering, layering, smudging and bluring - Shading is still a little above my pay grade lol
Rendering aside, its great fun only limited to imagination.
My second attempt.

Keep up the good work Karma. I love the idea and the blending look awesome.
In this sig the lighting is working nicely, so I would put yourself down too much on it.
Just a helpful hint, when picking renders, I usually do google searches for what Im looking for and I refine the search to the large images, this way I can get the cleanest image I can find.

Thanks Silent Wolf - I used lens glare on left side of Samurai (tip of sword) to lighten it and smudged his left side into the blend to darken it. Gives the sunset a hint of realism and helps make the bottom smudge / blend look like fog I think.
If I could get you to run me through some shading sometime that would be Very Cool.
these were the original images.
