Guess someone has hard feelings to ban before even 5 seconds passes after a warning. And you really should put the sights up on a machine pistol and hear the foot step sounds before you decide to ban a guy for it. Oh well thanks for the games. cya

It was not a ban it was a kick. Black ops shows it as a ban there is nothing we can do about that.

And we're also playing BO as crouch only while moving, which is different from the W@W servers.  Not sure if that was part of the issue or not.

Ahh your right it musta been temp ban, got excited for nothing. But now the question is, what violation was I temp banned for. Since I was following the rules. I have played crouch servers for along time. So Llama-Man, your saying there's no standing or walking with gun sights up? Your saying the players must stay crouched the entire game? Anyway with the SMG sights up and moving, your feet make slopping sounds, which might appear to the one that's face down as if the assailant must be walking sights down because he's making footfall sounds.

If you have a string of TKs the game will auto temp ban you nothing we can do about that.

We don't allow walking sighted on COD BO because it looks too much like running. That could have been why.

On our BO servers it is crouch only.

Walking with sites up is a WaW rule which does no apply to BO.

To be absolutely clear, if you walk with sites up, you will get two warnings and then you will be kicked. This is not the same as a ban.

BTW if you team kill four people in a match, Steam automatically kicks you from the game. I have seen this happen when someone accidentally naplamed a bunch of friendlys.

It was a honest accident but Steam doesn't discriminate.

Ok good to know...it musta been a temp ban. I saw the warning and 5 seconds later I was kicked and when I came back I was notified by the interface "You have been permanently banned from this server". I went back this morning and found that I was not banned after all. Not to get off topic but, OldYellr your sig seems to have a nice 3D effect to these old tired eyes. Did you make it?

Yeah - it seems there is lots of confusion about the NO WALKING SIGHTED rule on BO, since it is legal in all the other games that BK hosts.

Hopefully over time - players will get the message.
