Maybe a F89 Minimi machine gun?

Yeah, I looked at it again and the MK48 has a slightly longer barrel, Tet, you are correct. It is the FN Para 249.

It's illegal unless you have an FFL license to own automatic weapons Smile

$500.00 a year for FFL...last I heard....IF YOU CAN EVEN GET ONE

its not all that hard to get one (provided you have never been in trouble w/ the law before).  I just got my concealed carry permit in CT, and I was looking over the paperwork for the FFL, its not much more.  the biggest thing is that the FBI can knock on your door at 3 in the morning and ask to see all of your guns, and all the paperwork that goes with them, and you better have it all right there...

besides, automatics are overrated, ammo is WAY too expensive to be blowing through it at 800 rounds per minute.  Shocked for a m249, that'd be $1000 per minute... *gulp*
