One of the problems with FF is that it is sometimes buggy. I was playing in the server yesterday and one of my allies kept showing up with a red tag. I TKed him twice before we figured out what was happening.

Doesn't happen too often... Never happened to me personally. And as I almost always say in the announcments 'You're shooting uniforms not tags' Wink

Hello MadCapper...This is the Spider speaking...

In the spirit of discussion regarding Friendly Fire (FF) I would like to point out that it is an electve realism factor. In the "real world" soldiers are taught from basic on "discipline" and especially when it comes to fring weapons. The goal of our server rules is to enforce discipline and prevent friendly casualties.

The game designers handle this appropriately by "penalizing" the violator(and his/her team) in two ways. The first is that the individual killed must re-spaun thereby negating thier forward progress. Secondly, the violator is punshed by an "extended re-spawn period". Both of these penalties result in a reduction of team strength. After all this is "Team Death Match" (TDM) and everyone "theoretically" should be acting as a team.

Removing FF would only encourage and promote undisciplined behavior, just like allowing people to run at will or bunny-hopping.

Unlike many other servers, BK and its members promote "polite & friendly" environment and you will see that "our" members appologize when this occurs acting as an example to others to also be polite and friendly.

Thankyou for the inquirey and I hope you continue to enjoy all our BK servers!

Not only was his tag in red, he was missing the fashionable Japanese headband. Many times, the tag never appears. It would be helpful if COD had made the uniforms a lot different so we wouldn't need the tags. I realize there is a "fog of war" element but in real battlefields, sides did not mingle as much as in COD and they certainly did not change sides every 20 minutes or so. They also did not take into account the inherent eye problems in living for 51 years.

You have made TDM playable by using the crouch rule. Thank you.
