Could someone please tell me why I was banned last Saturday? Deleting the post solves nothing, nor it it Polite and Friendly.

And again, as I said I was sniping in a house, in the map Seelow, crouched and doing nothing wrong.

im getting dejavous......oh yes, I believe we said that it was being looked into.
as for posts being deleted, it happens when higher ranks are sorting the problems out or we have alot of posts that appear almost identical and it helps keep the place tidy so that the officers get to look at them all in a special area....
You havent been overlooked my friend and its not a matter we take lightly, we have a ban list that our admins use to log ban's so I am sure we will resolve your matter very soon

slick-willie you post is has not been deleted. it is very rare a post is deleted. they are moved to a section of the forums for review by senior admins, and a pm telling you this was sent.

So any time a post is moved to be reviewed a PM is sent? This wasn't the case with mine..

Vihra this is the normal procedure but at the moment i know our web master is very busy so may not have had chance to send the pm's

Well Ladyhawk, it's been two weeks. I think that is being patient, don't you? Others that were banned by mistake have been reinstated. What's the deal?

Hey Slick, as you are probably well aware all our admins/officers etc do all this on a volunteer basis, as you could understand they get busy from time to time making our servers what they are! and of course there is always real life to attend to. Thank you for your patience and i assure you your matter hasnt been swept aside as you may feel. I`m sure the senior admins will look into the matter as soon as they can and contact you when this is done! Once again thanks for you patience m8 and hopefully all will be sorted for you soon!!

Just think I need everyone to take note, I had a situation a few days ago when A player came on teamspaek and asked why he was banned for over 1000 minutes.
I asked if he had any warnings and his reply was 'I was on outskirts and had no warnings'. After I asked the admins about the name and no one knew anything about it, I asked what maps they were on out of curiosity and neither servers 1 or 2 were on outskirts a few minutes previous.
Then it became obvious......the player was on the ogu server and after I asked for the ip or server name, he replied with 'outcast tactical' in the name and it all fell into place, he was playing on our old server 1 that we no longer hold and I told him of the mix up....job done!!!

Please remember to check the server name and if the player can at least cantact us asap then it helps as it can be delt with alot sooner and easier.

I had another post moved/locked without any form of PM.

Please remember guys, this is a polite and friendly server and posts will be moved if we think that they are not very polite....for the sake of our younger members who may take offence to any of the content or if the officers need to go through it and they dont want anyone else adding any nasty comments to it. I know its frustrating but it keeps the site clean and tidy and helps others to see all of the posts instead of the same old ones popping up all the time when someone else wants to dig in (please excuse the pun).

Still waiting patiently...
