Bios Caught Up To Me

82ndParaTrooperWed Nov 14, 2018 3:52 pm

Well looks like my gaming nights are on hold for a while until I have another rig built. Went to update my video card last night with geforce only to have it tell me my system could not support the update for the video. Black screened out. Went back into safe mode and rolled back drivers. I thought it put it back where it was before I tried the update. Tried to pay BF1, it then told me I was still behind on drivers. Tried to install those drivers and it told me my bios would not support those no either. So ,I guess finally my computer has caught up with me. This computer still works fine, but just not game ready anymore and gonna have to bite the bullet and build another. Hopefully it will not take long. See you all on the flip side.

Did you look to see if you have a BIOS update? I have had builds where I didn't have updates forever but then something different came out and they did a BIOS update.

If your running Windows 7 it will do this, just upgrade to 10 and your fine. A BIOS has nothing to do with a video card update. If it's saying that then something else is messed up. Do a system restore not a driver roll back cause most the time other stuff updates alongside of it and when you roll back they don't jive anymore so hence system restore and all good.
