Need Help: Looking for trustworthy 700-800W PSU

shaneHMon Aug 03, 2015 12:30 pm

So I recently was going to get a certain Power Supply,

But another BK member warned me about it frying my computer because it is not a well known brand.

So can anyone recommend a 700-800 W Trustworthy PSU?

(Go easy on the fancy computer terms in the replies Im very bad with computers so bear with me)

Thanks in advance,
shaneH

I use either Cosair or Antecedent in my builds.

I bought a XFX 750 Pro, couldn't be happier. I have heard great things about Corsair as Firecracker stated as well.

All my power supplies have been Corsair, mainly because of their warranties, and the fact that I've only had one in all the years of building that crapped out on me. I sent it back, and was immediately given a replacement no questions asked. Top quality stuff.

Keep in mind a lot of companies outsource actual production to somebody else.  So two power supplies from the same series could be made by two different manufacturers.  Personally I use Thermaltake and Seasonic.  I have a Thermaltake 800 watt that has been going strong for like five years.  Since then I have pretty much only purchased Seasonic.
