I am usually in DayZ late at night or early mornings. World of warcraft the rest of the time. I think I have all day Saturday to play though.

lol E92si, Must have been the gun fire outside the building I was looting My number 1 rule is stay out of site and silent until its unavoidable - that way I'm the hunter not the hunted. I went back to that spot 30 min after you let off a few rounds - guy was stalking the building with an AK - I fired one shot just past his head and he agreed to drop his weapons, I let him grab some loot and leave. The 2nd guy wasn't so lucky.  

Very rarely do you get killed outside, its while your inside a building that your most vulnerable. I've learnt the hard way to never eat or drink in a building - get in, get your loot and get out - quick and quite.

It's key to learn how to kill zombies with melee weapons. Players shooting at Z's in a public server is a great way to get you found and killed. Great point KarmaKaze, it's best to consume all of your food and drinks prior to getting into any place with loot so that you're not wasting time deciding between items in your inventory furthering exposure.

I know i do my best to keep quiet, Karma  that second round fired was accident i was trying to figure out how to get it to zoom in on iron sites and then again i do stay on mostly empty servers and check often to see how many are around.

Bummer the reset took all my loot, i was so ready to get together and go raid but we will see how my looting goes later today. I do think they should have left everyone's stuff on their person after the reset / update. Not easy to find all those mag and drums, .357 (w/speed loader), 1911 with light and AKM
