ANZAC {Australian and New Zealand Army Corps} DAY

For all those that Have, Are or Shall serve there country, My family and I thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts for the freedom and liberties we enjoy that have come at so great a cost to you and yours.

We can never repay such a debt other than to stop for this one special day and give thanks in appreciation of all You have done for Us.


For the fallen,

They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning
We will remember them.

To the men of the Australian Special Forces Commando Regiment,

Many years ago, (1986) and many years since he was in your fold (WW II)  You took the time to attend the funeral of one of your own, my Grandfather, Michael Heffernan, Specialist, 2/3 Commando Regiment, Independent Company.
The honour and respect you showed that day will stay with me always.
