The Steam Box is a living room counsel that will run Steam and made by Valve. It is designed to move PC games to the living room and compete with the PS4 and XBox 720.

My question to everyone here is will you buy it or do you think it will be a bust?

Bust. I Think they need to stick to their already proven and successful business model , and not step into a heavyweight ring as a bantam weight. My sincere hope is that this frackus doesn't drag down the rest of what most of us already have vested into them if it fails...which I think it will.

I can't see the Steam Box hurting PC gaming. Even if it is a bust nothing really changes on the PC side.

Its a great Idea for games that are controller compatible. Most games will be better on computer, but every now and then I want to play on my TV.  Having a box that hopefully would link your steam account could be cool. Depending on price that is.
